Number 26

I turned 26.  It was the first birthday away from India. My friends had come down to my place on 27th evening. We celebrated with drinks and 3 cakes — one of which was baked by me (and that one got the most compliments). There was the usual cake smearing ritual and photos.

On the 28th, me and couple of friends drove down to Big Bear. Which is a city by a lake of the same name. The place is famous for snow sports — skiing and snowboarding. Unfortunately, we got too late and we couldn’t do any of the activities. So we had to settle for snow fights and hot cocoa.

After spending some time there, we drove back to LA — a 4 hour journey. I was dead tired when I reached home. But an awesome present was waiting for me — my first SKATEBOARD! Gifted by my amazing friends in Bangalore.

And although I was dead tired, I went out for a 4 mile run in the night. जान जाए पर ट्रेनिंग न जाए

A memorable day!

All you have to do now is find a 4-5 km long slope for downhill skateboarding. See tons of youtube videos to get the kick needed to do so 🙂

I just tried going down a 5m slope. It’s not that easy. Just to balance is tough. And yes, I have been watching inspirational skateboard videos for the past 2 months.

26 is a nice number. Trying to recall where I was/what I was doing but it’s too far back.. Wait! I think I was single then… 🙂

    And one more thing…
Keep writing, dude! Like your style.
